Learn to swim – even as an adult!

It's never too late to learn to swim. Our swimming course for adults is aimed at anyone who wants to feel more confident in the water or learn to swim from scratch—without any pressure to perform and in a relaxed atmosphere. Step by step, you will be introduced to the movements in the water, build confidence, and develop safety in the water.

The course takes place every Monday from 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in the school swimming pool at Raabeschule/Schulzentrum Heidberg, Stettinstraße 1, 38124 Braunschweig. (There are NO classes during school holidays!) You can join the course depending on availability.

Do I need to be able to swim for water aerobics?

No, it is not essential to be able to swim.

Is it compulsory to wear a swimming cap?

No, but if you have long hair, a hair tie is recommended.

Do you actively participate in a trial training session?

Yes, so please bring your swimwear.

What items should I bring with me?

In addition to swimwear, also bathing slippers, toiletries, and towels.

How deep is the swimming pool?

The pool has a lifting floor and can therefore vary in depth, max. depth 1.80 m.
